These waterproof pants do a great job. Im a bicycle comuter and ride all year round regardless of weather conditions. These water proof over pants keep my regular pants dry and keep the wind from penatrating my base layers sucking the heat out. Water and cold weather combined together in winter are a number 1 killer, and these pants keep me from getting hypothermia by keeping me warm and protecting my base layer from water intrusion. Theese are an absolute requirement for long outdoor excursions in wet and cold places. the small price i paid for the pants is nothing compared to my life.
