Extended to its widest position provides sufficient amount of divided spaces for separation of Various kitchen tools. However, I wish it could extend several inches more to fit the entire width of my drawer which would prevent the unit from sliding around every time the drawer is pulled open and pushed in to close. All in all, it's a good product.
