    Better Plan, power useage, time.

    It's more flexible than having a Rice Cooker that's also a steamer. I choose a Rice Cooker that does not steam because I already got this Steamer and knew it works. Better cooking, I can do more in the same amount of time. Rice Cooker = 440watts. Steamer = 400watts. You do as well.
