Bought this during Black Friday online and did a next day pick up from a local Supercenter, This is my first MacBook and the ease of use in conjunction with my other Apple products is next level, coming from using HP laptops navigating took a little getting used to but I’m happy with the ease of use and speed and will probably be stuck on MacBook computers now, I haven’t had any issues and love my MacBook very much, even when I forget to turn the computer off and just close the lid the battery life has been amazing, I’d definitely recommend this, especially if you’re already an IPhone/Apple user.

Amazing first MacBook Air I have ever got!

I got this MacBook for less than what it was listed. I haven’t had a good laptop in Uber 12 years since the first time they made computers that turned into tablets ha ha. Anyways, this is a great deal because I’m not willing to spend over 1000 dollars I recommend getting a USB multiport is that’s how I was able to connect to my hard drive so from two USB ports I’m able to connect the multi port to one USB-C and split into two USB regular two USB and SD card and SD mini micro and on top of it at the end it has an HDMI port. I recommend that if you’re gonna get this pop in the external hard drive to terabytes out, boom solve the problem so I don’t gotta spend more money on a higher memory built-in model it just doesn’t make sense.

Tracking pad glitch

Purchased this MacBook Air M1 (2020, Space Gray, 8GB memory, 256 SSD) in mid-September 2025. A great deal at $599. I found Walmart to be the only retailer selling the M1 in new condition; ships directly from Walmart and not by a third-party seller. The good news is that I can confirm the M1 that I received is a legit new factory-sealed device eligible for AppleCare.. The bad news is that it arrived with a tracking pad glitch. Must consider the fact that, while it is a new device, it has been factory sealed and stored for over five years at this point in unknown conditions with no recent quality assurance. So you must consider that. This will my 3rd MacBook so I trust the brand and the M1 appeared in good order so far besides the trackpad issue.. I returned it and purchased a replacement in hopes that the glitch is an anomaly. Will report back. As an aside, I am one of the millions of people who cannot tolerate the newer screens due to vision issues. Fortunately, I was able to tolerate this M1 screen. I tolerate my MacBook Pro 2015 better, but this was manageable. I rated three stars given my good experience with shipping and the otherwise positive attributes of the M1 I received so as not to completely dissuade you from making the purchase. I rarely, if ever, write reviews. But, since I heavily relied upon them in choosing the M1, I thought it only right to share my experience.
