If you are looking for a budget friendly laptop that still works in 2025, the 2020 m1 air is still worth it, but beware, since walmart holds these unopened devices for so long, the battery may be dead. You'll have to confirm your purchase by scheduling a phone call with apple to receive your warranty (since you bought it on walmart) and then head to a store to get the battery exchanged. I would say 650 is on the pricier side for an older model but at the same time it comes brand new unopened, so I'd rather pay a bit more than buy a refurbished one that might have more serious malfunctions. Overall very happy with my purchase, will be picking up mine from the apple store soon after it is fixed.

Brand New and Battery Is Defective

I love MacBooks in general. This is the third one I have purchased. However, this particular one must have been sitting on a shelf somewhere for a very long time. On day one of opening it, the battery will not charge past one percent and has to be replaced. Truly, when you open the box all excited about having a new computer, it is expected to be in working order. I'm very disappointed this time.

It's basically a $600 paperweight

I've bought two different ones and neither battery will charge beyond 1%. There's an error on the screen stating we need to set an appointment at the Apple Store.That's now two different Christmas presents that need returned. Walmart won't exchange, but I had to return then repurchase. So frustrated!
