Perfect for Grilled Sandwiches!!!

We just received this a few days ago and I used it for the first time yesterday. I bought Sara Lee Artisano Bakery Bread because it is thicker and works better. The little booklet that came with the grill recommends using a thicker bread. Well, I put mayo on the inside of both slices, added two slices of white American cheese with three slices of lunch meat ham between the cheese. I preheated this grill and once the green light came on, I put the sandwich in it, closed the lid, and within two minutes I had a delicious perfectly toasted/melted ham and cheese sandwich!!! This little grill would probably do great with using the Artisano bread for French Toast...which will most likely be my next attempt...lol! Although this little panini grill doesn't have an on/off button or any temperature control, the 1,000 Watts does the trick in no time. We are very pleased with it, and it's easy to clean and small enough to store in a cabinet, Great value for the money too.
