They do take up more room in freezer because of standing up, but clear to see food. I plan to purchase more that don't stand so I can use what best fits the food I prep. Recommend this product.

I have removed plastics from my home, esp the kitchen, but I needed something for convenience mainly for items that won't be kept for long %26 that are ok in a less sturdy container due to storage/space limits for cold and room temp. These are perfect. I don't actually know if these are considered plastic or silicone, but they don't contain any forever chemicals, and that is my main concern with plastics. I already have herbs fresh cilantro %26 parsley in them, %26 homemade cookies, and pieces of pound cake in them, and everything is still fresh after almost a week. My husband is also happy with our dog treats in one of them in the fridge. He has Parkinson's which is one of the main reasons we don't use plastic %26 check everything for heavy metals also. For his safety he always sits glass containers down to open the lid, take out enough treats for our 4 rescues, reseal the container and replace it in the fridge. The reusable baggie makes it possible for him to hold it while he gives them treats %26 put it back in the fridge without all of the extra safety steps. I would definitely recommend these.
