I got this SSD once the beta for the PS5 update was released to upgrade my Ps5 expandable storage. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and well the SSD performs. Most games have improved loading over the Internal SSD within the Ps5. This is really impressive considering how the PS5 architecture was built around speeding up the internal SSD within the console. They did a great job building out the SSD expandable slot with good board speeds directly to the slot. This SSD is very cool compared to most that have been tested and compared for Ps5 upgrades and PC use. I'm very happy that the SSD slot is faster than I thought it would be and find myself moving Ps5 games to the Slot over the internal because of it. So far it's been a great purchase I'd recommend to anyone wanting a good and fast SSD which is also cool and reliable for Ps5 Upgrades on the extra slot it's a no brainer to pick this drive. It comes with the heatsink on it and is sized already to fit perfectly in to the PS5. I've always trusted Western Digital products and this has proven why I have.

I was lucky to order the 2TB with heatsink after seeing these sell out like hotcakes. I purchased this for the use of expanding the internal storage of my PS5. I did get nervous when I was sent a backorder email right after placing my order but the item arrived at the best possible time as it arrived on the day before Sony officially announced that they were releasing the system update the following day that would allow me to increase the storage. Installing was a breeze as long as you know what you're doing prior to going straight in. Luckily there's tons of video tutorials on YouTube. Product works great and now I have more storage on my PS5 for installing games! Item is great quality and delivers excellent performance. I highly recommend this item for anyone looking to increase their PS5s internal storage.
