Filter Removal

NEW REFRIGERATOR: USED 5 MONTHS. Filter is very difficult to remove. The online WHIRLPOOL instructions MANUAL FOR THIS MODEL says push the tab to release the housing holding the filter but, really, one must PULL the tab to release. After that the filter cannot be removed, turned. pulled down. It is just stuck so I have to have a service call to be able to change the filter. I also looked at several utube videos but they were different models.

Love this Refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator Nov 2022. I love the no finger prints stainless steel, the shelf and bin spaces are perfect. We enjoy we choice of crushed ice or ice cubes. There is only one issue , the light in the refrigerator to replace needs a service call. That is something I did not realize. I am used to replacing a light myself. For the most part, great refrigerator!

Ice dispenser stopped working

I usually wait some time to write a review on things and I'm glad I did here because I WAS completely thrilled with this purchase until the ice dispenser stopped working shortly before the warranty was up. Had it repaired through the warranty and not 6 months after that, it stopped working again. Neither the Whirlpool warranty or the repair company were able to help me. The ice dispenser was one of the reasons I purchased this fridge so it's definitely disappointing.
