This was sold as new, but when I tried to contact Microsoft to start the new warranty they told me there was no warranty because the laptop was sold by Best-buy about 15 months ago and the warranty was already expired. They even put what looked like a factory seal on the box it came in. I returned it for a full refund (Thank You Walmart). It may have been a good laptop, but It should have been sold as used. They tried to scam me and will probably just sell it to another unsuspecting customer.
