Instructions

ADULT DOG FEEDING INSTRUCTIONSThe recommended feeding amounts indicated are based upon the average nutritional needs of an adult dog who is older, less active or is not at an ideal body condition (using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup, which contains approximately 96 g of Purina ONE). Factors, such as a dog’s metabolism, breed size, activity level, age and whether the dog is spayed or neutered, will affect the amount of Purina ONE needed to achieve an ideal body condition. The pet experts at Purina have provided the feeding amounts indicated in the Weight Maintenance column as a starting point. If you find that your dog has a tendency to gain weight when fed these amounts, you may need to reduce his calorie intake by feeding the amount recommended in the alternate column. Continue to adjust feeding amounts accordingly to help your dog reach and maintain his ideal body condition. Be sure to monitor his weight on a regular basis, making sure that his ribs are easily felt and his waist is visible when viewed from above. Reaching and maintaining an ideal body condition can impact your dog's lifelong health.IT’S NOT FOR ALL DOGSPurina ONE Healthy Weight Formula is specifically formulated for adult dogs. If you have a puppy, or a pregnant or nursing dog, feed Purina ONE Healthy Puppy Formula.MAY BE SERVED DRY OR MOISTENEDPurina ONE may be fed dry or mixed with water. If mixed, we suggest one part liquid to four parts Purina ONE.MAKING THE SWITCH TO PURINA ONEAlthough you’ll be anxious to see the difference Purina ONE can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from his current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Purina ONE until you’re feeding Purina ONE exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.NO SUPPLEMENTS NECESSARYPurina ONE provides 100% complete and balanced nutrition for maintenance of adult dogs. There is no need to add vitamins, minerals or other supplements, unless specifically directed by a veterinarian.FRESH WATER, PROPER DIET & VETERINARY CAREBe sure to provide fresh water in a clean container for your dog daily. Affordable and Healthy!

My dogs have been eating Purina One High Protein, Healthy Weight dog food for 5 years. They love it and it helps keep their weight down. They were gaining so much weight on that Pedigree dog food I was buying before. Good healthy dog food is practically unaffordable these days. I have three dogs, and we love that that Purina One is healthy and reasonably priced / affordable. Highly recommend.

Purina One Healthy Weight dog food is economical

When our Vet told us that our very large dog, Buddy, had to lose some weight, we started him on Purina One Plus Dry Dog Food High Protein Healthy Weight and our dog loves it. He lost 1/2 pound the first month and has steadily lost weight in small increments ever since. He checked out very healthy at his annual exam visit and the Vet is very pleased with his progress. Walmart has a great price on the 40 pound bag and delivers it for free which is a bonus. Thanks.
