A Bar at the Folies-Bergere, Edouard Manet Framed Art Print

A steady gaze and a glittering mirrored crowd. A framed art print of A Bar at the Folies-Bergere by Edouard Manet, a gift for art collectors. Made in the USA by a family-owned shop, 14"x11" with a wall hanger attached.

Add a touch of Parisian nightlife to your wall with this framed art print of A Bar at the Folies-Bergere by Edouard Manet. A barmaid stands calm and steady while a vast mirror behind her glitters with the crowd. It suits art collectors, lovers of French art, and anyone who wants a striking piece for a study, den, dining room, or home bar. The mirror gives the room a story of its own, with plenty to notice on each pass.

Edouard Manet unveiled this work at the Paris salon of 1882, and it was his last great painting. The barmaid stands at a marble counter set with champagne, liqueur bottles, oranges in a compote dish, and a vase of roses. In the mirror behind her, a gaslit, chandelier-lit crowd gathers, and a pair of green-shod trapeze legs appear high in the corner. Its deep tones sit well with leather chairs, dark wood shelves, and rich wall colors. The odd angle of the reflection has fascinated viewers for generations, which keeps the picture fresh every time you look.

At 14"x11" the horizontal piece is bold from across a room and rewarding up close. A wall hanger is attached to the back, so it hangs on a nail of your own in minutes. Place it above a sideboard, a bar cart, or a sofa, or build a gallery wall around it with other French pictures. The frame arrives finished and set up for display, with the hanger fixed on the back.

Black gives a dramatic, theater-like look, Charcoal feels modern, Barnwood adds a rustic lounge touch, and Walnut warms a traditional room. Barnwood and Walnut are finish names for the moulding. The print is on quality paper behind a clear acrylic front panel, printed and framed by hand in the USA by a family-owned shop, with rich color kept true to the original. Each finish changes the drama of the gold and black details, so match it to your room.

Give it to a Francophile, a friend who runs a home bar, a collector of Impressionist-era art, or a couple settling into a new home. It suits a housewarming, a birthday, or a retirement gift, and the quiet mystery of the barmaid invites conversation. Choose a frame finish and share a night at the Folies-Bergere. It starts conversations, which is a pleasure for anyone who entertains at home. A frame in your choice of finish makes it ready to give the day it arrives.
