They are larger than I imagined, but the quality is great and I don't have to worry about larger friends sitting on them. I ultimately returned these chairs, because they were truly a counter height not bar height. Error on my part. Literally the most beautiful chairs. I cried returning them. Watch the height before buying. If too short — you too will cry when they don't work.
