Self adhesive closure malfunction

I like the shoe, It is very comfortable, however the issue is with the self adhesive closure which is Velcro. After a few months of wear the Velcro has ripped off the shoe. I tried to staple it, and glue it back.I'm stuck with a shoe that I cant wear cause the strap wont close. I probably will buy another pair since the shoe is comfortable, But be aware the strap closure will soon rip off.
