Using less plastics

Switching to glass trying to use less plastics. Great value for price. A variety of sizes for needs. A couple of issues to consider. The weight of the container. I'm disabled and once filled can be difficult for me to handle the large pieces. Also when making big batches casseroles I can keep in my casserole dishes or the nice square pieces. I don't want to transfer my soups and stews into casserole dishes. We eat soups and stews longer in the winter. I need to find bigger bowls. That are not too big but still make since.
