I love this self desk unit, very well made. Nifty idea for a desk. The metal and paint finish feels high quality. 1 problem.... the shelves are not spaced apart (top-bottom) so you can put books upright, like in a bookcase. I laid my books sideways. Otherswise, this is an awesome desk. worth the money even with the shelf issue. You should have 2 people to move it into place. Did I say I LOVE this desk!!! Yup!
