Really easy to use, the only thing is that the water level when suction is happening is very low, so I thought the machine was malfunctioning, but the water leves of suction was a the max already, that's why it wasn't working properly . Other than that it's really good, loving it

Look at the pictures…enough said! But seriously. I got this to replace my ancient “ mean green machine”, which did a perfectly fine job until the hose blew out. A few cons. * The scrub brush sucks. While they are stiff, the bristles don't penetrate the carpet because the y are too short and too close together. * While I don't think the other one had other brush options (at least any that I still had), the “pet hair” ones are an absolute joke. Not only do they not clean, they don't even really pick up cat hair. * I bought a knock-off brand of scrubber head with longer bristles, unfortunately it does not hold the suction of the machine. I ended up using it to scrub the stains and came back to suck with the other one. * I believe this was an issue with both machines but it seemed more pronounced with this one, but the hose/head are incredibly awkward to handle. Trying to maneuver it is hard, especially on something like stairs where you are in a confined space. Sometimes you would have to actually pick up the machine and move it because the head just would not rotate to the direction you needed it. Not really a pro or con, but another poster said this as well: You really need to pretreat it with another spray beforehand. A few Pros: * It really does an amazing job of getting very old stains out of carpet (I don't think our stairs have been cleaned in 15 years and it got that junk out!). * The filter that catches the hair!!!!! Amazing! * At first I didn't see the need for the narrow base head it had on it, but man did it come in handy getting to the cracks and crevices from the side of the wall and stairs. * The way you can clean out the hose and tank after is also amazing!!!! You wouldn't really think about needing this, but when I saw the huge clumps of cat hair and such that came out of the hose I was sold! * Finally, the price! I think it is about the same ( on sale) as what I paid 12 years ago for the other one. When I shopped prices this time, it was about $50 cheaper than the other brand and it's a SHARK! All and all, it's worth the money paid!
