I've owned 3 Maximus boards, this one being the third. I bought this one used so haven't built it yet other than testing it. It came with 3 bent pins in the CPU socket and I was able to straighten them out. It is working so far so we'll see. These are very good motherboards.

I recently bought this motherboard to put a gaming ready system together- I'm on a budget so I usually am a couple generations behind the most current line of components, and this time I am 3 generations behind, due mostly to the unbelievably high gpu prices. That said, there is a reason that I buy republic of gamers boards as the backbone of my gaming computers, and I think sometimes pictures are better than words Bear in mind, the benchmarks I am posting screenshots of have many results from the latest 12th generation Intel systems- my system is 9th generation, built on a ROG Z390 chipset board. The Maximus XI Hero (wifi) is one high performance motherboard, I am thoroughly satisfied. See attached pictures for performance.
