It's really tight, but once I got it on, it's really snug and the feeling of it is not slick. It's smooth, but rough. I love the feel of it. Because when I handle it, it grips my hand and that makes it more difficult to drop. The feel of the cell is different in the back than the front of it. I'm very satisfied with it, and the cost was very comparable. Great purchase.
