This machine is a replacement for our Nespresso Pixie machine, which started to leak after five years. The water tank is smaller, and the compartment that captures the used capsules is not clear like the Nespresso. Therefore, you can't see if the compartment is getting full without opening it up. However, these are minor shortcomings. The espresso produced by this machine is of the same quality as the Nespresso Pixie, with beautiful crema, which is what ultimately counts, and is priced about $70 less. So I gave it five stars because it is a really good value.

Perfectly Fine after an Initial Glitch

Some problems with the initial setup: it wouldn't recognize that the reservoir was full of water. I had to remove and replace the reservoir several times to get it to work. Now that I have it working, I just add water by pouring into the tank and it seems to be working fine. The coffee is good and the brewer doesn't take up a whole lot of counter space.
