Turn your outdoor plugs into Smart capable devices

Inexpensive and very easy to install. You can use the App that comes with it or use Google Home or Alexa. The Tapo app has more options like setting schedules than the Google home app, but all works the same. Just remember it is weather proof, but not water proof. The directions include recommendations on how to set it up to make it more weather resistant. I used it to attach some outdoor string lights over my patio. Able to use voice control or app to turn them on and off. Side note, I ordered this online and it turned out to be cheaper in store. If you buy online and it ends up being cheaper in-store, Walmart doesn't give you the difference. You need to return it and then go buy it in the store at the lower price. Annoying, but something to consider.

Highly recommend for Christmas lights.

Using this plug for my Christmas lights right now. It was super easy to set up and works great. I bought two of these items to use on two separate outdoor outlets. I like that each of the two plugs on the plug-in can be controlled separately, although I'm only using one plug at this point. And that I can program multiple on/offs for turning on and off in both the morning and the evening. I control it all from a single app. I would recommend this item.
