Better than Mediven

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing these "off brand" stockings after using Mediven, but I should have made the switch years ago. These are far more durable and just as comfortable. You'll immediately notice that the material is heavier than the Mediven. If that is of concern, stick with your current brand; however, if you are looking for a higher quality stocking at a significant discount these are for you.

Most Amazing Support

The most amazing socks for the price. I spent over $65 for support compression stockings at a local medical supply store. Those ripped in a matter of weeks. Anyone who needs to wear a 30-40mmHg compression knows that they are not easy to get on. All the tugging and pulling have not put a run in these socks. The toe room in excellent. They hold up in the wash extremely well. I would absolutely, 100% purchase these again.

Thrilled to find these stockings at an affordable price!

I have suffered from very serious, long-term varicose veins for which I have had 7 surgeries, more sklerotherapy sessions than I can count. Because of this condition, I have needed to wear surgical support stockings everyday to control the pain and swelling. For years I have spent a fortune on all the classic brands ($60-90 per pair), so was thrilled to find the "Value" brand at Discount Surgical Stockings!! I am now able to afford to replace them when they've lost their original elasticity. Previously, I would continue to wear the old ones which gave little support because of the expense. I see no difference in quality or support with this value brand vs the expensive brands, so I will now be a frequent shopper on this site!!!
