These are high quality compression socks at an outstanding price compared to other brand name socks. Not sure why anyone would incur the significantly higher cost for name brand! These are easy to get on and off and comfortable to wear due to the large toe box and heel cap made of a non-compression material. I have always hated compression socks because of how so many pinch my toes after a short time wearing. I can wear these all night and day, and they are still comfortable. I am 6'8" and a big man with size 16 shoe. The standard size is plenty long and easily comes over my calf. I found the sizing very true to measurement so it is critical to have an accurate ankle and calf measurement when choosing appropriate size.
