Split Sound

Great clip-on ear-buds that stay in place and don't fall off no matter how rambunctious the activity. Tip-top sound quality However, One day the sound to each ear-bud split, and I could no longer hear sound thru both buds simultaneously. Either sounds come through the left bud, or through the right bud, but not through both at the same time. I would love to know how to fix this, as my model has a USB compatible charging 'cable' not the 'C' cable the new model has, which means I will have to buy new 'C'- compatible sockets and plugs if I replace it.
