Nice piece, but it's ALL black

This is probably the easiest piece of furniture I've ever had to assemble. The only thing you have to have is literally a phillips head screwdriver. They even include the glue! But, the two small doors at the bottom are made of plastic, and they are not wood appearing, the entire thing is solid black except for the chrome columns. Still, for the price, it can't be beat. And my 55" Vizio fits this well, maybe a 2 inch overhang on either side.

Would recommend!

These are good looking stands, we purchased 2 of the black ones, simple to put together with a screwdriver. We chose the ship-to-store option. They arrived on the estimated date (~3-5 days) and it was a hassle-free pickup at the customer service counter. They are sturdy enough to hold our 50" and 55" TVs and other electronics. My only gripe is one of the stands we got had a small crack on the bottom piece, it was just cosmetic and didn't affect how it held together so we just filled the crack with a black Sharpie. The two doors on the right and left side are shiny plastic while the middle one is wood. Overall, worth the money. I'd recommend if you're looking for something simple and looks good.

Economical Stand that works!

I was looking for a short (in height) stand to get me by in a temporary place. Now that I have it, so long as it will fit in my next place, I'll keep it! Assembly was easy, durability exceeded my expectations; although its particle board with a laminate on it, the bonding seems pretty good and the unit itself is light enough under its own weight that I wouldn't hesitate to move it (in terms of the durability). It was nice that some of the panels already had the turn-screws in them; I'd never seen that before. They even give you glue for the wood pegs! I currently have a Visio 55" m series TV (which is larger than its supposed to hold), Yamaha receiver, Nintendo Wii, and some other misc hardware on this. I'm not sure how they derive the max TV size that its supposed to hold, but its a flat surface plenty big enough for most stands (I would think), and is more than sturdy enough to hold the weight of a modern LCD (which are pretty light these days, particularly if they are LED). Bottom line; this stand is definitely worth the money. Buy with confidence
