Troll motor mount transducer

It would be nice if you showed a picture of the exact orientation on a motor. Does the cable go forward or does the cable go back. The instructions show a generic picture and not this exact transducer. It says mount the transducer forward of the shaft. But if you mount this one with the round edge(not cable) forward then the cable is back behind the shaft. The picture also shows mounting with the cable forward, but the cable is on the straight edge and not the rounded edge. Confusing!!!!!!

Helix 7 G3 Mega DI

The MEGA DI image from this unit is terrible, nothing like what is advertised on the box. Is this really the best I can expect from this unit, (see attached image)
