I do my own gel nails. This has done well at removing my previous color. I like that it's rechargeable instead of alkaline battery powered. I haven't tried it on calluses yet but with the multiple speeds, I think it will work well. The two issues I've had is the switch is had to get in the center which is the off position. And one of the heads is hard to remove when I change heads.
