Healthy and Beautiful Glass Storage

I wanted to stop using plastics to store my leftovers. All the information out there suggests these micro plastics are not healthy. The best alternative is clear glass. I love the clear top with white trim. I like being able to see what is in each container. I also purchased several of the smaller version of the 10 cup container.

Great container with tiny annoyances

I love this food container. It's so aesthetically pleasing and has enough sizes to choose from. The only issues I found is with the lid. The lid has a thin rubber/silicone piece that is meant to make the container seal properly. When I wash the lid, this piece comes out so you can wash it too, but putting it back into its rightful place can be annoying. I also noticed the part that clips the lid to the container is made of plastic. If too much pressure is put on an incorrectly placed lid, this little plastic piece can easily break. It's a matter of caution and patience.

I am changing out my plastic for glass. I have tried 3 brands in the larger size, this, Emeril Lasasse and rubbermaid. Rubbermaid are hard to open after clamps seal them, Emeril the blue seal came out and isnt going in easily, I will ask one of my kids, if they cant get it I will reporpose the glass part but these PERFECT. No problems opening seals are staying in place. I guess I found my favorite brand.
