Tip for the Perfect Mouse Trap
This can become the "better mouse trap" by adding a cardboard entrance tunnel. The mouse has no choice but to approach the bait head-on, thus placing enough weight on the lever to trigger the trap. I've had nearly 100% kill rate since implementing this technique. Very simple. Give it a try.

I live in a Rural setting. Mice are a regular and continuous pest that must be delt with. I have tried several mechanical devices.
