Excellent fit, very sturdy yet light weight. Mainly I use it for bike rides. My dog doesn't like to ride in the basket on my bicycle so I bought this backpack and she loves it. She's a Chihuahua about 5 lbs. I'd say even a 10 pound dog would be fine in this backpack.

I use this for my medium size kitty. It holds up excellently, absolutely no"sag" . They can see out perfectly, yet feel safe lying down to just relax. Great to use on a bicycle ( the regular kind) . Pace slow, avoiding electric bike speeds. Depends on your passenger.For that, I would use dirt and fume cover, as well as noise reduction for the health of your pet. Awesome compact ability for size! Zippers strong, fluid and offer many options for in/out. Took a while for me and kitty to figure out, but now as I bring it out, she has her own way, and off we go!
