Athletic Works 100LB Black Cast Iron Standard Weight Plate Sets, Used as Both Dumbbell and Barbell,1-inch Holes Fit Standard Sized Bar

The Athletic Works 100lb cast iron set is a great starting point for a home gym. I ordered my set for store pickup. While it was well-boxed, store pickup is likely the safest option to avoid any risk of losing pieces during transit. All items were included and exactly as described. The cast iron plates are coated in thick paint for smooth handling, and the hand-hold cutouts are helpful for gripping the plates for exercises without using the dumbbell bar. Additionally, the spinlock collars rotate smoothly, and the dumbbell bars have no sharp edges or metal spurs. At its current price, the cost averages out to about $10 a month for a year. I highly recommend it as a reasonable investment for a well-equipped home workout.

Solid, inexpensive barbell/dumbbell set. The handles/holes on the rims of the plates make them easy to handle. The barbell comes in three parts that easily screw together tightly. The dumbbells have good grips. There is plenty of room on each bar to add weight in the future if needed. No regrets on this purchase.
