Apply EltaMD UV Restore Broad Spectrum SPF 40 facial Sunscreen liberally to your face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses Before use on children under 6 months: Ask a physician

A sunscreen that goes on like a moisturizer
I adore this product! I was looking for a daily moisturizer with mineral SPF, and they are very hard to find (there are plenty with chemical ingredients). Since Elta is a brand I trust, I thought I would give the UV Restore a try, even though it is marketed as sunscreen. I am glad I did! This feels like a moisturizer thanks to the squalane. It goes on thick but does not feel heavy or oily once absorbed. It has a creamy consistency, and blends well into the skin. I'll often skip primer since it works well under make-up. Like most mineral SPF it has a cast, but once the product is soaked up by your skin, it is very faint and almost non-existent. When it mixes with foundation, I find it evens out the skin tone. I've purchased similar from other well-known brands and this is my favorite! It truly feels like a moisturizer vs. a sunscreen. Which is exactly what I wanted.
