Even straight out of the package this comforter started impressing me! I opened up the shrink wrapping, and it puffed out much bigger than in packaging. The wrinkles came out easily as well after being placed on the bed. It's so very soft and comfortable! I'm very pleased with this comforter! It will keep me nice and warm on winter nights, but it's just the right amount of warmth because I won't sweat to death in the summer in Texas either! It's not too heavy and is still breathable in the heat. It is machine washable which is always a plus in bedding comforters, as it's not too often you don't have to dry clean something like this. It's very attractive looking as well, the navy color is so pretty and the gray side is pretty as well. I'm really happy with this comforter and this Rest Haven brand. I'm a new fan and I would highly recommend this comforter! It's one of the softest ones I've ever used- in all seriousness. The price is fanatic for the quality- which will last for years and years to come. The one I had is queen, for reference. Goes well with dark colored furniture- also as pictured! Five stars!!

I got the twin size. It came in a vacuum sealed bag and was really drawn down tight. I feared that after getting it out of the bag it would be compressed in spots and may never actually come back to full size or fluffiness, but it did. From past experiences with similar items, I also thought it might have a smell to it and left it to air out for a few days before use. But, it never really had an odor to begin with. This is very lightweight but also quite warm. As you can see, it's white. Unlike some of the other reviewers I did not see any spots/stains or anything else on the fabric. The color is quite consistent throughout. Also, there was no evidence of any loose fibers or tufts of material anywhere. The stitching all seems sound and looks like it is well made. The fit is spot on. So far, it's all good, very soft and just about what I was looking for in a comforter.
