Electrolux Ultimate700 Cordless Vacuum, Granite Grey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is absolutely perfect for my needs and I am over the moon happy with it so far. It was fairly easy to put together and I like the small footprint when storing it. It fits inconspicuously in a corner of the laundry room, standing on its own stand so I didn't have to mount the thing on the wall, it remains handy for quick cleanups. The suction is good and you can control the speed/power which can make the battery last longer if running it on low. Also there is an easy to read battery light indicator showing you how much power is left. It goes very easily from hardwood to throw rugs without having to change an attachment. The only negative is that the battery does not last as long as I had hoped, but then as an older person I cannot vacuum for long periods of time anyhow so it fits my needs very well. Also I wish the brush attachment had a bit more and longer bristles on it so I don't risk scratching the walls surface when I am cleaning out the cobwebs that collect up high in the corners. Other than that, it's perfect. Very lightweight. Perfect for an older person.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick tip: for hard floors, just remove the brush. Don't need a hard floor nozzle, works great on carpets, too. Light, powerful, so easy to maneuver. I always want to put it on high power, but seems to work just as well on medium. The dust cup is small, the battery doesn't last that long (esp on high), but everything about the design and function is top-notch.
