Mixed feelings about these chairs in regard to assembly versus final product. Concerning assembly, they are VERY difficult to assemble due to the breakage and shirring of screws. We did NOT over-tighten the screws by using an electric drill, they were tightened by hand. Also there were not any additional screws included in case there was an issue. Thankfully my husband had screws on hand that he could use to finish the assembling process. This is also not a single person assembly because of needing a second person to hold pieces together. Now the good part: once completed, the chairs are great. They look pretty, sit comfortably, are heavy and were a great price. Hoping they will last a long time as they are inside our covered porch/patio and not exposed to the elements. Final analysis, assembly: rating of 3; completed chair: rating of 5; overall rating of 4. Great chair, but you need patience to put them together.

As others have noted the chairs lean forward which is something not shown in the pictures on the website. Very difficult to put together terrible alignment of screws. Do not seem like they will last long without snapping at the base or when rocking in chair.
