EGO Power+ Select Cut LM2156SP 21 in. 56 V Battery Self-Propelled Lawn Mower Kit (Battery & Charger)

The mower is light, quiet, and well-designed. I've cut the lawn twice so far, about 5,000+ sq. ft, using mulching blade. Perfect cut on setting 4. The manual says it's approx. 2” cutting height, but grass seems a touch longer, which is okay. No clumping or other issues. 2 bars remaining on 10 Ah battery each time, using self-propel feature about 1/3rd of the time. Full-charge takes about an hour, as advertised, though, as EGO recommends, you should wait another 10 or 15 minutes for the charger fan to turn off, as it helps cool the battery.

Likely the best purchase I made in years. Had to buy a new mower this year and decided to go all in. After doing a little research and then having a fellow shopper who was buying the eGo at the same time. He convinced me he did his research and has the string trimmer and it is why he was buying the mower. So I made the purchase and could not be happier. I have used it twice and it is “liberating”. Not to deal with the gas and all and the heavy mower. I just hope the battery doesn't degrade over time. I have the typical “suburban” lot. I'd say more on the medium to large size at about .4 acres. And I have been able to mow all the yard plus a second mowing of the front and the battery still had run time left. It is light and I found myself not using the self propelled function. I'm actually not aggravated that I have to mow now. Just hope the battery lasts. I'm now going to by the string trimmer because after I was done mowing the last time I fought to get my gas powered trimmer to start up and I finally gave up.
