My cat is a big girl, like huge paws and needs something very sturdy to scratch instead of my furniture!! We saw this on sale after keeping an eye on it for a couple months so we knew it was time. She absolutely loves it. It doesn't tip over or move on her and Shes so happy she can stand up fully to use this! 10/10 recommend as long as your cat already knows what a scratching post is and needs something bigger/sturdier. (If you're cat doesn't use one, there's no way to know if they will like it)

Our cat loves this scratch post. The only thing I will say is that the perch at the top isn't very big but what can you expect for only $25 bucks. I don't know why other reviews are bashing the product because it can hold my entire body weight which is 120lbs so I feel it's very sturdy. Also it IS wrapped in sisal with fur on the corners, perch %26 stand underneath. I had one in my cart that was around $80 for the same height so this is most definitely a great product for the price you're getting it for!

Well worth the money!

In the past we had the plain jane carpeted scratch poles that our long passed away cats were never interested in. We just adopted a new 5 month old kitten from TAPS %26 I ordered this scratching post online HOPING she would be more interested in it vs. our carpet %26 furniture, boy did it IMPRESS her %26 us. After an easy assembly with the easy to comprehend instructions, securing the bottom base, the middle, top %26 the shelf with thick provided screwed in bolts %26 a small base they can sit on at the very top, depending on how big your cat is, it took maybe 10-15mins to assemble. We were quite impressed with the sturdiness of this cat-scratch post compared to cheaper made ones from the past that they could never run up to %26 climb like this one. Once together our kitten spent a good hour trying to conquer the hanging ball, attached to the sitting spot at the top of the pole lol. The ball is attached to a stretchy cord that is attached to a thick bolt that is screwed into the top sitting spot base. She has spent endless hours now everyday not only stretching herself out to scratch the post, but also climbing the tall pole like a tree to conquer the ball resulting in a swinging ball attracting them more. This post is well WORTH the money!
