As an experienced gardener, I found myself with soil issues in my new rental. The instructions on how to take soil readings and how to do the testings were pretty clear. This tests for water deficiency, fertitilizer balance and acid/ alkaline levels. I love this product. A great addition to my gardening tools. No more guessing what my soil needs anymore...
