This woven basket is a Biohazard and grows mold over time. When I initially unboxed and assembled this, it came with a piece of paper saying to air it out for a couple days to get rid of the moisture as it is made from natural water hyacinth, I did that, but never really noticed the smell improve after that. I was already passed the return period for the product as I was out of town for a few weeks and when I came back, my entire house smelled like cat feces, I eventually traced the smell back to this basket which was storing extra pillows (that got ruined). The humidity from the air got absorbed into the hyacinth weave on this product and began growing mildew inside. When I contacted the seller regarding this issue, they sent me a generic condescending message refusing to refund me or accept a refund because I was out of their 30 day return window. AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS
