Should there be an emergency, I feel confident this radio will serve it's purpose and keep me informed. I haven't used the solarto charge the batery yet. It doesn't charge my phone, like it's suppose to. The NOAA weather radio comes in fine.

Quality crank radio

I love this crank radio. I use it primarily when camping or boating to follow the weather so I can plan my week, but it's always available for news as well. This one actually replaced a previous model the cat peed on and I couldn't get the smell out. The included battery usually lasts quite a while, and when it doesn't I can run it off solar or crank it.

Happy with the purchanse

radio is very clear, stations come in crisp and the volume is great Havent had to really use it yet, but i think that we will be very satisfied when we do. We bought cheaper models before and never bothered trying to use them. They never charged up easily, they were horrible in sound and range for stations.
