Best Kept Secret

The Crosman Vantage in.22 caliber is one of the best kept secrets for inexpensive nitro - piston break barrels . It's simple to operate and maintain. It's well made, but has some minor finishing flaws. Just as some other reviews stated, the varnish/stain is chipping and is easily scratched. This is odd, because this is the only Crosman/Benjamin wooden stock that is doing this. This is a factory flaw. I'm going to strip mine down to bare wood and start over using stain/varnish of my choice. This rifle was heavily discounted after Christmas so I couldn't pass it up. Even at its current price, it's still $20 less than any other current retailer.

Straight Shooter

Great shooting pellet gun and was very accurate out of the box. The barrel breaks down fairly easy and It's not overly loud. It's pretty powerful too. I would definitely recommend it.
