Its a battery. My truck starts. Supposedly these are supposed to last longer. We shall see in 5 years. Installation in a Ford truck was easy. It comes with several adapters for different vehicles.

Peace of Mind

After learning about the possibility of damage from lead acid batteries bulging and leaking in a C5 Corvette. I replaced the battery with an Optima and couldn't be happier. Along with an 1000 watt audio amplifier, I have had no signs of drainage from periods of storage and cold weather, which was a regular occurrence with the traditional battery requiring a trickle charger. I'll be putting Optima batteries in my other vehicles as well.

I got it at such a great value I was and will be questioning the warranty, problem is I will not find that out till I actually have to use it!! The factory is 3 years, the seller never would tell me after 3 inquires about the production date, I didn't know till it showed up, is was this year which allowed me to breath better.
