Honeywell Home T5 Smart Touchscreen Thermostat Black - Sleek Design and User-Friendly-

This is my second T model from Honeywell and love it much the same as the first which I've had for 7 years now. I had to remove 2 NEST thermos and replaced an older thermo unit. My only regrets is that I hadn't bought 3 T modlels. The Resideo app does not over complicate my need to power up, warm up or cool down. If you're the slightest unhappy with your current thermostat, don't bother with the rest and buy a T model thermostat that fits your needs and budget. Lastly, Honeywell has taken the lead on flush mount designs with the T line, where as the rest still use the chunky donut or rectangle box that looks and feels like an after thought.

I purchased this smart thermostat through a discount program with my electric utility. I did have maintenance perform the install, but if you're handy, you can do it yourself. Setting up the AP was easy. Improvement to control of furnace (installed in December) was immediate. I set up the geofencing feature which uses my phone to recognize when I'm away and adjust temp (down in winter). This works great. Not perfect. Sometimes, it seems I "sneak" in. I'll go into AP and just doing that fixes things. It doesn't happen often and I'm not sure if it's my phone/coverage.
