Our dog didn't mind wearing it and could easily swim with it on as well as move around in the boat. He is large chested and the adjustable velcro straps worked perfectly to secure a safe fit. Seems durably made with good materials.

We just got a boat for the family and for fishing. I have 5 dogs. I wont be taking them all at one time. Probably one at a time. I have 2 American Eskimos that are obviously larger than my other 3 shih-tzus. Not by weight, but by height . The Eskies also have a lot more hair. I was so very pleased to find that this in a size for under 15 pounds did in fact fit both breeds. It is well made, and can pick up all 5 by the handle on the back. Very sturdy. I got the yellow so that they can be seen in the water without blending in with the water or surroundings. I would recommend this life vest for your fur baby.
