OK, how do i put this. If I bought this for myself, I would have taken it back. But, I bought it for my daughter, She did not see the areas of scratches, paint chips where the parts did not go together well at all and where the wood was split. She loved it for what it was---walmart got lucky. When you consider it was half the price of the other stores I looked at for something similar......I let my daughter keep it. It was not bad, just showed a lack of quality, pretty much second hand quality, and the flaws could be hidden....except for the paint chip on the center of the drawer...on the front,,, in full view.....

Not as deep a red as I imagined from pictures; I imagined a glossy finish in phone box red. These are more of a tomato red with a satin finish. Easy enough to assemble with a screwdriver, but easily chipped, Be careful. We had a chip on the front, in fairness I don't know if it came like that or we did it when assembling so I'll probably touch it up with a pen or something. Overall, not bad for the money. Maybe wouldn't have ordered if I'd known the colour and finish were going to be so different.
