Wrong item horrible return process

I was shipped the wrong item. It was the box for the gun I ordered, but a different gun inside when I try to take it back to Walmart. They refuse saying it was a firearm and could not be returned. I finally found someone at another Walmart who work for online purchasing and was able to get them to help me through www.walmart.com to return the item but I have not got credit for it yet so I did not get the item I ordered, and I still didn't get credit back for returning it
