It was advertised as 100% COTTON and they are not at all. They are indeed 100% POLYESTER. They are very cute but I worry about my grandniece sweating in them. Grandma asked for 100 percent cotton and that's not what we got. Only opened 2 out of 6. May return the other 4. They are very soft.
