I haven't opened the box yet (this is a gift for someone else) but I have this exact monitor and it's lightweight and easy to transport! Just be sure to pad the screen well to give extra protection when traveling bc I know someone else who has this and their screen cracked, and insurance doesn't cover cracks.

I'm doing some development on micro-computers, i.e. Raspberry Pis. I was looking for an inexpensive monitor that I could easily put away. Viewsonic was often known to me as a quality product and reputable brand. The color and clarity are great on this unit, and with plenty of presets it's easy to find make quick adjustments for a different application. Connecting a device, whether a Raspberry Pi or laptop are simple and easy. It's very portable and the protective sleeve that comes with it is a bonus. The interface menu and control are easy to navigate and use. The only thing I have against the monitor is the plastic kickstand feels a little thin and could break easily if not careful. Some people might want an extra power connector if not connecting over USB-C. Admittedly, I purchased this on sale, so I feel I got a great deal on this monitor. The portability, picture quality, and simplicity make this a good purchase for my needs.

Great little extra screen for laptop

I plug this into my laptop with USB-C/Thunderbolt. It's the perfect, small, very lightweight extra screen. Comes with a neoprene type carrying case, which is great for protecting the screen if you throw it in your laptop bag. The stand is easy to pop in and out. Highly recommended!
