I needed a pair of water resistant hiking boots and for the price, these are excellent. I haven't had them long enough to judge how long they'll last, but I just need them occasionally so they'll do. The boots themselves have European rather than American sizing although the size listed on the Walmart info page is American which is why they have lots of 1/2 sizes. Consequently, get 1/2 size bigger than you normally would.
