Hisense 55-Inch Class U6 Series Mini-LED ULED 4K UHD Google Smart TV (55U6N) - QLED Quantum Dot Color, Dolby Vision, Full Array Local Dimming, Game Mode Plus

I purchased this TV to replace a TV of another brand that arrived with a broken screen and was returned. I thought that I would try this Hisense instead since it was getting good reviews and had no indications of bad screens like the other brand. I can honestly say that the change to Hisense was a good one. This U6 TV is just great. The picture is excellent with great color and brightness. The Google TV setup was a breeze (with an existing Google account), and all the apps I've used so far (including NetFlix, Amazon, and Disney) have run fast and are very reactive to commands from the remote. The remote itself is a bit on the larger side, but fits comfortably in my hand and has a nice set of pre-programmed buttons for the apps with a custom button as well. My only complaint is the sound quality from the built-in speakers. As I have this TV in a basement gym, the sound has difficulty rising above the gym sounds from the treadmill or bike, and lacks clarity with a piercing treble at the louder volumes. To fix this issue, I purchased a soundbar that brought the quality to another level and makes everything just perfect. In a quiet room, I would have no problem with the basic TV speakers. For the price point of this Hisense, it definitely rivals more expensive TV's and I would consider this a great buy overall.

Bought this Hisense U6N on sale at a great price. But even at full price I would've loved this TV. After tweaking the initial settings and connecting my Onn 4k Pro Google TV Box, I simply left it alone. Brightness, contrast, color and resolution are absolutely fantastic. And the sound is outstanding as well. I haven't delved deeply into the many options for adjusting the picture and sound. But I believe most anyone would likely find their sweet spot with this TV. Definitely recommend.
