Hamilton Beach Professional 6 qt Slow Cooker-Crock Stainless Steel

I already cook with Sous Vide but needed a new slow cooker and liked the idea of a small (6qrt) counter top machine. Have just finished a 24 hour AAA round roast cooked at 56c (132.8f) and with my digital thermometer it stayed within 1 degree over the 24 hours. The meat was perfect! Great machine especially at the price.

I was a little put off at first because I've never seen a slow cooker with a metal interior before. But it works great. This was my first time using a Sous Vide cooker and I am thrilled with the results. I had some chicken breasts in the freezer that were nearly a year old. I seasoned them and transferred them to individual vacuum sealed bags and cooked them Sous Vide. I browned them in a pan after cooking and they came out juicy and delicious.
