I ordered this coz I tried to borrow from auto zone for my stalled vehicle in my driveway. Turns out they don't lend those. They'll print codes if The car is in their parking lot. The service engine soon light came on in my 2004 BMW XI. I wanted to diagnose the service codes but had no expectation of being able to erase the codes or service light. After looking at several other more expensive non vehicle specific OBD2 scanners I bought this for $20. To my surprise not only did it diagnose the System Lean codes, but also erased the service engine soon light. Paid for itself after 1st use plus I was able to take the money I was going to spend on another scan tool and buy parts for the repair. This is a must have.
