The service engine soon light came on in my 2004 BMW XI. I wanted to diagnose the service codes but had no expectation of being able to erase the codes or service light. After looking at several other more expensive non vehicle specific OBD2 scanners I bought this for $20. To my surprise not only did it diagnose the System Lean codes, but also erased the service engine soon light. Paid for itself after 1st use plus I was able to take the money I was going to spend on another scan tool and buy parts for the repair. This is a must have.

The two buttons make for simple controls with the user only having to scroll for various options including resetting the codes, and the tool sometimes reads more codes than those of one of my local mechanics making it quite handy when in need of troubleshooting. Definitely worth having for anyone needing an OBD2 diagnostic tool, and more than worth the price.
